Gettin’ high again!

November 10, 2010

High Dynamic Range that is! Having fun shooting my friend Steven’s newly refinished 3/1.5 brick ranch in Decatur, Ga. I’m using high dynamic range technique for the myriad of temperature lights, or lack of them rather in the rooms. Autumn can definitely bring it’s share of real estate and architectural “issues” for the shooter. North rooms can be a cave, while south facing rooms can be the surface of the sun in lighting difference. HDR makes some of these problems quite beautiful, or at least less painful to photograph.
